SAP was selected by a private sector developer to assist with strategic planning for a major new Greenfield airport planned for development in Southeast Asia. 

 

The project included the creation of detailed aviation activity forecasts, including annual movement forecasts for passengers and aircraft (domestic and international), aircraft takeoff weight and types (for use in aeronautical revenue models), and tourism inflows (by country of origin).

SAP was engaged by a
Hong Kong-based financial advisory firm to prepare economic assessments and long-term
 aviation activity forecasts for airports in the Asia-Pacific region.

The forecasts were used in financial feasibility models for assessment of airport privatisation opportunities in the region.

SAP was selected by a group of private sector investors examining opportunities to develop airport terminal facilities
in Vietnam.

As part of the assessment of Hô Chí Minh's international airport, SAP prepared aviation activity forecasts, including annual movement forecasts for passengers and aircraft (domestic and international).

SAP assisted the World Bank and the Tanzanian Government with the preparation of a national civil aviation master plan for the country’s airports.

 

SAP developed annual and peak period aviation activity forecasts, strategies to increase the country’s aviation capacity, and analyses on the socio-economic benefits of airport development projects.

 

SAP was selected by the airport to assist with the creation of long-term aviation activity forecasts for Sunshine Coast Airport (Australia). 

 

The forecasts included annual and peak period forecasts of passenger and aircraft movements, as well as the development of alternative forecast scenarios.

SAP assisted the Kingdom of Bhutan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with the creation of a national airport development program.

 

SAP was responsible for assessment of the country’s air transport industry, creation of long-term aviation activity forecasts and socioeconomic analysis models for the proposed airport investment program, which included creation of three new airports.

SAP was selected by Angkasa Pura II to prepare 30-year forecasts of aviation activity (passenger, cargo, and aircraft movements, as well as peak hour analysis).  

 

The domestic and international forecasts are being used to support future facility expansions and privatization of the airport operator.

SAP was selected by the Korean Ministry of Finance to assist government advisors with an assessment of privatization and other strategic initiatives for Incheon International Airport Corporation. 

 

The project included long-term aviation activity forecasts and flight schedules and assessment of potential traffic allocation policies.

SAP was selected by ICAO and Airports of Thailand PCL to lead strategic planning projects for the airports’ Master Plan Update projects.

 

SAP prepared long-term (annual and peak period) forecasts of passenger, cargo, and aircraft movements for Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang international airports.
